Everyone is probably wondering what the big splash was.... yes, that was Mandarin jumping into the lagoon! ;) It's his sixth cycle on this dose and I was just starting to contemplate if he might need a dosecrease tonight. Looks like the answer is no.

I'm glad that he is trying to keep my mind off of Iris. Her vet was indeed able to talk to the vet that treated the other kitten that passed away and we are planning to go ahead with the light sedation to see if there is indeed a polyp. She is hoping to still fit her in over lunch today, but I am anxiously waiting for her call. :nailbiting:

Yahoo Mandarin! We knew you could do it! Walter.....how come you're not in the lagoon; I thought you guys did everything together?

Sending more vines to poor little Iris.

Finally, a nice cycle for both boys. :) Very happy with their numbers today... and they better surf safely for the rest of the cycle since I had to leave for work. :nailbiting:

After lots of back and forth, we didn't sedate Iris today to look for a polyp. I am still undecided if it makes more sense to just take her to a specialty vet right away so that they can do the diagnostics and the removal in one procedure. Has anyone ever had a cat with a nasal polyp? And what was your experience like?

Also, I know there are several members here who live in Chicago (@jayla-n-Drevon @Carol & Murphy - and maybe some others) - do you have any recommendations for a clinic in Chicago (or closer to South Bend)? I have taken my dog to Purdue's College of Veterinary Medicine, so that might also be an option.... but Chicago would be closer.

Sienne used to live in Chicago and had a clinic she liked very much. @Sienne and Gabby (GA)

Vines for little Iris.
Surf safe, Mandarin! You too, Walter.

And here we have it: Walter made it into the lagoon too! These synchronized cycles are really too bizarre... but, in this case, they make for a happy mama bean. :D:D:D

Now let's just hope that both of them will hang out in the lagoon for a while....

I don't know anything about nasal polyps, but will bump you up and hope you get an answer. I'd suggest putting "nasal polyp?" in the subject line instead of just the ? post icon so that people who know about that topic will see your question and stop by.

I am good friends with a vet at Cat Hospital of Chicago, as Sienne mentioned above - I will email her and ask her what she thinks, Christina. Cat Hospital is just off the Kennedy and would actually be easy to get to from SB. I'll let you know when I hear back.
