Yesterday was ............. YELLOW DAY in MannieLand.... and PINK day. Blech!!! It has been a while since we have seen pink.... I know I need to break out an new pen, sure would like to attribute this rise in numbers to a wonky pen, but I'm not too sure that it is. Every now and then Mannie just goes to the stratosphere, with no apparent cause. New Moon approaches too. Maybe I can blame that. :lol: Well we start a new day today, and hope for better things. Right Mannie? A little blue today? Works for me! THX! Lubs ya too big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in mannieLand. :-D :-D :cool: DGS was back after being on a weeks long vacation with his mom adn dad - they went camping! It is no surprise that little Nicholas loved it. Dinner via campfire, s'mores after s'mores and sleeping in a tent. AWESOME! It was great to have him back yesterday. Mannie thought so too. It was funny though - there was no nanner decorating :shock: but they did share breffis. Just before it was time to leave for the pool, it became very very quiet,. :shock: :shock: Never a good thing with a toddler around... it was as it was before his vacation - I found him in one of Mannie's hidey places. He had crawled as far as he could get to pet Mannie. There was a huge our session going on in there, and a young boy with a smile tat ran ear to ear. I still don't know how he managed to get in that tiny space, but he did. What best buds they truly are. :-D :-D :cool: This morning we had a great test, feed (YES!!!!!), shoot and clean plate club (YAY, membership still intact), AND the auto feeder was ignored by Mannie, (again!) :shock: Elsa too (again)... I just may stop using the silly thing.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! am back on DGS duty through Friday. WOO HOO!!!! More Nicholas - sure has been along week while his parents were on vacation. We will be weather permitting, off to a river or creek Today. We both hope Mannie gives us a permission slip. YAY! I know I probably will not be able to visit condos while he is here - just no time! I mill miss you guys, and your furkids. Think blue, think green kitties!! :-D :cool: :cool:

Hey everybody! What's up???? An y nosy wanna go hang gliding? or skydiving? I lubs that stuff. was thinking too maybe we could just chillax by a pool somewhere. Eat catrnint crisps and sip micro brews. What'd'ya guys think? You in? Let me know - I am ready for anything! ~~ Mannie

Nick was so glad to be back in the pool, and the beach is always a winner with him. Hi Michelle,

Here's hoping Mannie (and Rusty, too) can break through those morning yellows and get down to blue (or dare we say, green?)! What a fun day you and Nicholas had yesterday. How neat that he had so much fun on his first camping trip. Have a great outing today. How's the weather out there? We hear so much about all the fires in eastern WA; you must be glad not to live there!!

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) oh yes on Mannie and Rusty - we hope for a better day today. Think blue guys! -- and yupp: we did have a fun one yesterday, it was all great. I too was so happy that he loved his first camping trip - there will now be many more for him. WOO HOO! Weather her is good: sun, about 70, not much rain at all. And a big yes on being on the west side of the mtns: no fires here.How the east side, through Idaho are having there fair share. One does not think of WA state as being dry, but we truly are, it has been an extremely dry summer: not alot of moisture in the ground, grasses trees etc. Once lit they are burn very hot and fast. Good luck with your forms!

NanaCat has been visiting from Melbourne, MumBean even got to go away while she was here to serve me. When she got back she said something about climbing a 61 metre tree :shock: and then doing some walk in the tree tops. I dunno really, I was most interested in collecting all the cuddles that I'd missed so I wasn't really listenin :lol: I been missing you guys though

VYKTOR! DUDE! Man that is kinda cool... NanaCat - I likes them. Though I is not too cool on the tree climb thing. I uhhhhh... kinda suck at that. last time I ripped out a claw. :shock: that was no funs. heeheehee on the listening part... I do that too. Morning Michelle and yum and thanks on the WPM ~O) ~O) I forgot to mention I actually had one a couple days ago and yes, very good, like a dessert! I am also blaming Maggie's yellows on my vial, but my gut feeling is that it is the real Maggie numbers. :smile: I can imagine how much DGS loved camping as he loves all the hiking and river adventures you take him. I bet you are so happy to be spending time with him this week. What a pretty beach and he sure is having a ball. Great pics as always and I will take a look at the links, too. Have a great time today.

Mannie, dunes sledding and hang gliding it is, especially if Vyktor will be there. I am getting myself all ready and see ya soon at my curb, Mags

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) I am glad you finally got a chance to try one of those PWM. they are like a dessert, a tad bit sweet, but I really enjoy them,. One one sweet indulgence. :lol: And yes - I think the same - pen old or new, I just think these are Mannie numbers, but new one tomorrow then we will know. And yes - love the time with DGS - a river today! YAY!! I think Mannie has given us permission. HOORAY!!! Enjoy the photo adn video links!

Another super day in PNW! Michelle, I hope you had a great day by the water today. Neko has decided to go skydiving down to join the BMG. Looks like a serious jam session happening now.

and I think I overdid the carbs at PMPS. Darn it! One plays the various scenarios in their head: which way will he go... up, down, sideways, he headed down at shot time, better give a little more carbs. yada ydad yada... :lol: :lol: Looks like i gave too many. oh well.... that 107 today sure was nice! Almost green!

Nicholas and I had an AWESOME day today on the river. We went to the Skykomish River, a good 20 minutes in from any main road. It is gorgeous there, river with mountains on each side, accessible river bank, areas to hike. We did explore some, and had the best time! Weather was nice: sunny, blue skies, and maybe 70. I just love it when he can have lunch at river's edge amongst all that scenery. So so nice! I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Wendy - Iy was!! What glorious weather today - sun everywhere, and 70 where Nicholas and I were. Way cool on the jam session. Mannie read me the riot act for carbing him too much, so he is working hard to get back to the blues. He says that +1 is more blue anyways. JAM ON KITTIES!

Hi Barb - it was a good day for him.Guess I don't have to worry about the insulin being toast - sure wasn't this afternoon. :shock: :-D The couch sounds soooooooooooooo good! After a day in the wild with Nicholas I need my couch too. Move over - I'll join ya! :lol:

Hi Anne - oh oh.... I hope he's not heading up to visit Z. I had best intercept him, make sure he has ropes for retrieval, and not the trampoline to aid in his arrival. :shock: Blues sure were nice to see today. I wish he had stayed there. Well, maybe tomorrow. :-D
