Egon did well for his dental. His BG was high today but it was a little stressful and he only got a half dose this AM. He’s home now. He got two molars extracted - one pretty rotten and the other had a reabsorption abscess. We got gabapentin and onsior sent home. I think he’s going to feel better now, that must’ve not felt good. He’s so stoic, I had no idea he was in pain! Hoping this helps bring his numbers down too! Thank you everyone for the well wishes!!

Heal up little man! That Onsior seemed to work really well when we got home. But that and/or the gaba made him pretty unstable on his feet for a day or so.

Is that the after picture? He looks a little stoned. . Better that than in pain, which are kitties are so good at hiding.

Have you tried a little snack yet to see how he feels about eating?

Make sure he'll eat before you give insulin. I thought Gabby would inhale her dinner after a dental but she sniffed and walked away after I gave her a shot. It was an exciting night that I would encourage you to avoid.

yes it is!! Totally! And yes he was ravenous! I only gave him a little snack so far but he ate it right up!
