Good evening,

another day with some nice blue numbers but not as long as yesterday. The good thing is, that last night she only bounced to yellow which is in improvement.

Today is the first day without antibiotics and Binie seems to feel quite well. Hopefully we can keep that.

Summer is almost gone and today was the first day I needed the radiator. Even though Binie loves to go outside but just for a short security check and holding her nose in the wind. :cat:

Hope everyone has a relaxed start in the weekend! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Heike, I’m so happy to see more blue for Binie
And her bounces are shortening, too :p

I hope she continues to feel better. It’s nice to hear she’s still surveying the great outdoors, even if it’s a little colder.

Stay warm this weekend. we are having a hot weekend. Looks like high 80s F here. Probably the last hot weekend I would guess. I’m going to try to get in the pool both days if I can before it gets too cold!

Sleep well and safe surfing tonight :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Good to hear Binie is feeling better.:)

From yesterday:
I am already nervous because in two weeks I have another three days where I have to to be away from shottime to shottime and can only come home for 20 minutes at lunchbreak and on one day she will be all on her own.
Two weeks is a long time from now. Best to experiment now and gather data. Worst case, you can reduce before the two weeks.

I’m so glad Binie is better. Do you have any neighbors who could stop in on the days you’re at work just to give her a pet and tell you how she looks? Just so you feel better—I was worried my other cat (Tammuz) might need to see a specialist and wasn’t sure how I’d manage being gone from Methos; I decided if I had to then I’d ask several neighbors to each check once on him and text me, so no one person had to keep going to my house, and my cat sitter to come by at his nadir. I’m sure she’d do fine without as others have already said but I understand the anxiety because I have it also

You are right and I will see what happens tomorrow, to make a new decision. Thank you for checking on us! I hope you have a nice weekend! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you so much Colleen! :bighug::bighug::bighug: I usually have my neighbor looking after her, but she is gone away for a few weeks for a treatment. My other neighbors are out of the house during the day. I have a cat sitter in my neighborhood but she said she doesn't like to take the responsibility. My plan is now to feed a bit higher carb in the morning to make sure, she is not going too low. I will then come home for a few minutes in my lunchbreak after her usual nadir time and can feed her if she is too low. I think in the afternoone she will be fine.

I can imagine you are very worried, to handle two cats with health challenges at once. Seems like you have nice neighbors and you have a good plan already! I hope you never need it and Tammuz doesn't need a specialist. Hope you have a nice weekend! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Staci,

yes, I also love to see all this blue in her ss!:cool::cool: Unfortunately she found the trampolin again... :p:p:p

I hope you enjoy your weekend in the pool! We had 80 F last weekend too, so the change was quick. I was even cooking the first pumpkin soup of the year today. Last weekend, I would have found the idea absurd. :)

I hope you enjoy your weekend! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
