From what I understand, a low blue once in a while is okay as it could be caused by some stress. What you would want to do is to test again about 3 hours after eating to see if his pancreas brings his numbers down for him.

He seems to read higher in the am. Could that be because of the overnight with no meal?
He goes from about 10pm-6am with nothing.
I am hoping to get a timed feeder and maybe I need to stick a feeding in the nighttime also.

We suggest you give the trial a fair chance. Day two is still very early and things can vary from day to day. I didn't flunk out Wink from his first trial until the end, when he shot up due to a UTI.

Hang in there,
try to be fair,
trial has just started,
Pixie wants to be parted,
from those shots for a while,
and hopes to party in style!

That would be mine...haha Pixie only puts teeth marks in legs recently...although we are working on it.
I am totally giving this trial it's fair shot. I am confident and hopeful.
However, I always like to stay one step ahead of everything.

He's looking good this afternoon!
