Well well, finishing up our first day of our OTJ trial!

Last night's PM BG, to start the night off right, was 63

I was excited about this morning's 68.
I am not too happy about tonight's 89. I hope it's still a decent number.

Both of these were basically fasting numbers.
I get home, she acts all hungry, I put out some turkey and giblets and she looks at me like. . . really? REALLY?

Now that she's not getting insulin, I'm not nearly as worried about her not liking her food. Maybe we can get some pounds off her fat frame.

She is seriously loving the new treats I got her - they are Kong Farmer's Basket turkey. They're not exactly freeze dried. They looked and felt crunchy in the bag, but they aren't, not really. She is digging them. The ingredient list says: turkey. I was going to buy her the freeze dried shrimp but they seemed outrageously expensive!
I think I'm going to switch to posting after her AMBG, with the previous night's PM, instead of waiting so long to post.

Go Skunky!  Happy day ONE. dancing_cat

If you post in the AM, you can always update the post later in the day with the PMBG number. Are you feeding her small meals through the day/night?

Thanks Wendy. I sort of am. I feed her a few times when I'm at home, but have been gone for 8 or so hours at a time for work.

I'm going to be ordering an auto feeder in the next few days. They didn't have any at PetSmart :-(

I'm leaning towards the ones with the ice packs but no idea if they are good or not.

I know you want a 60 all the time, but anything under 120 is perfectly acceptable, and any double digit number is awesome! Trust me, Skunky is doing wonderfully!

Congratulations on Day 1!
