Oh Mr. Jenks, what are you up to?

This is a positively awesome day of numbers and actually resembles a normal cycle. That must mean he's up to something haha!

Anyway, the real news is his drop from 215 at +6 last night to 112 this morning. That's a 103 point move in the back half of the night cycle compared to a 15 point change in the first six hours. He's famous for active cycles late in the night, and at least for now, they appear to be reemerging.

But unlike previous days, there wasn't a huge rebound early in the day. That's good news. But with this rising 97 late in the day, I suspect it's onward and upward into PMPS.

Because we're starting to see flashes of green, in conjunction with the skin issue apparently starting to fade, I'm hesitant to push the dose. So I think we're just going to hold firm at 8.0U to see what happens. I know we've probably held it wayyyy too long, but we're in uncharted territory here.

Wow looking good Jenks! Rooh is envious of all that green and blue. What was the skin issue?

That's a pleasant surprise! Numbers held pretty well. Only 145 at PMPS. Awesome!

@Jmeli - We're not entirely sure. Whatever it is causes him to itch around his collar area until he gives himself big, raised welts. I went back through my notes and saw that the last occurrence was in December 2014. Then, it got to bad that he scratched a large bald spot in the scruff area. The vet failed to come up with a diagnosis and left us some sort of antifungal cream to put on the affected area. But I don't think it did anything. Then, the issue eventually disappeared on its own.

Now we're seeing the same thing. Except the location has shifted to the front part of the collar and his chin.

It too looks like it's now resolved itself and is going away. So we're just anxiously waiting to see if his numbers change with it.
