I'm really worried!! I've never seen blood after giving insulin! I wonder if that's what those other spots are from and I never noticed it with her long fur?? What does this mean?? Is she okay?

You most likely hit a capillary. It can happen sometimes and it's nothing to worry about. It just bleeds a little. It's called a blood shot. :bighug::bighug:

Oh thank goodness!! Does she still get her insulin in or is it basically a missed dose? I didn't even know it was possible!!
 
The insulin should have gone in. However there is a chance it could affect her numbers quicker than normal because it went into the capillary. You may need to be extra careful tonight monitoring her.
