Looks like Blackie decided to bounce this morning, but I'm hoping he'll come down today. To answer questions in yesterdays condo - yes, Blackie has an automatic feeder and its inside a food box to keep the civies away from his food. But like some others here, Blackie doesn't always use his feeder as we want him too. Yesterday, I thought I could use LC food to keep him surfing, and it kind of worked, but then he wasn't hungry at shot time.

I hope everyone enjoys their day. We are having a yard sale at MIL's house, so I won't be around much until later today.

WCR: Blackie seems to be feelling fine. He's not eating quite as well, but still okay. He's been outside twice already this morning and most P's are in place. He also got his squids this morning.

Bouncing is a relief when we need to go out. Huh, imagine that, having a life away fron the cat! :shock: I hope you have a good sale and get all that extra stuff cleared out.

sell lots of stuff at the yard sale so blackie can go online shopping! that's my fav when the bean doesnt hide the credit card...

Oh yard sale we are having one of those soon at my aunts in about a month hope you did well and hope Blackie is doing well tonight

Looks like we'll be skipping fluids again tonight. Its a good thing I gave a little extra this morning. If this keeps up, I'll have to start giving 100ml once a day instead of 50ml bid. I'll be getting spot checks tonight.

I never want to have a yard sale again. How boring! We made a little money, but next time I'll just donate the stuff and take the tax deduction. I'll be donating what didn't sell too, but at least we have a local humane society that has a thrift store and they'll be glad to have the stuff.

you could start with MC to see what that does. Do you know how much Blackie responds to each level of carbs?

See where Blackie's at when you test next. If it's a big drop, I'd add some HC gravy on top of a bite of LC. I base what I feed on what the numbers tell me.

...your higher carb should have gravy that you can use to encourage, in case Blackie not eating too much, that will help.

I would of been at your yard sale! I love yard sales on a Saturday :lol:

I don't really know how Blackie reacts to HC vs MC. The HC didn't do much the other day, but I think it has brought his numbers up in the past. With his other health issues, Blackie just isn't consistent with his numbers or food. If he's dropping slowly I'll feed a bit of LC, but if he's really going down, I'll add the HC gravy to the LC. Thanks for your help!

Come on Blackie - a nice gentle slow drop into the green surf...... is that too much to ask? Hopefully some fud manipulation will help him get there.

I still had some California Roll (16%) so I gave him about 2 tsps of that. He loves the seafood and doesnt' get it often. I'm not going out and will keep checking.

Hi Ele, Too bad that the yard sale was a trial! I'm with you: donate and take the tax deduction! I hope you have a good night tonight and that Blackie responds to the higher carbs and the California Roll. A nice, high-green surf would be perfect. See you tomorrow.
