Morning, guyz. Just caught up on your condo for the past few days. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Quite the party going on in here!! Hope you're done with the spaghetti sauce... thinking about heading out in search of tomatoes to do the same! I've still got tons of peaches as well... thinking maybe a peach salsa is in order. Two birds, one stone! Have a great weekend!

Peach Salsa?? Never had that before, sounds, interesting?? :lol:

Well, not done making sauce. Since I have some food allergies, i like to make as much sauce as possible for the year. I even canned small jars so I can make small homemade pizza with gluten free crusts and dairy free mozzarella. I miss pizza so much!
And Olive Garden, oh how I miss Olive Garden!

I think so far i have 13 quart jars and probably 10 half pint jars. My sisters garden is still producing tomatos like crazy so i see another batch or two coming up. I'll take all I can get though, Natural Spaghetti sauce in the store is like $7 or $8 a jar!

there was just an article in our paper this week on safe canning of tomatoes - they said the newer varieties of tomatoes have less acid so you have to make sure they are acid-enough to do regular canning with.

marjorie is in arizona, i'm in oregon - ann is in california, michelle is in washington - i think she gets offline around 10 most nights. but between us usually someone's on til after 11pm most nights, pacific time. that's about when the east coast early birds start getting up.

i just moved punkin to 15 last night, but the husband didn't realize and gave him 14.75 this morning instead. i want to get his numbers lower for the sake of his kidneys.

We usually can, but lost all of our tomatoes this year from the drought. So sad. It is so much better for you and tastes so much better. Peach salsa is yummy. You should try it.

Tigger gave you a little yellow. Hopefully there is more of that to come.
