Happy Saturday to all,
I was so glad to see Casey get down into nice low numbers, and then this morning...fur shot. I had noticed previously that if I push the syringe stopper firmly after giving a shot, usually a little drop comes out, so after the fur shot I did insert the syringe needle and gave the stopper on more push to try and get at least a little something in her. Since most of the insulin wound up on top of her fur, I do not have high expectations for Casey to get real low BG#'s...but she is a cat, she might supprise me. I plan to test her at about +4.5 even though I doubt she would be getting anywhere near hypo, just to see what is going on w/the fur shot.
She has already put in a full cat day of bird watching (and moewing at them like crazy), playing, cuddling, and, to my suprise,
visiting and allow other people pet her (she usually only come to me and not allow others to even get close to her, let alone touch her).
Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!
