A not-so-quiet day in the neighborhood.
.Some cat hurked noisily in the dark hours just before alarm time. Dog beat me to it.
.Polly didn't want to eat (aha, puke culprit). Waved an open pack of FortiFlora over her plate. Gobble, gobble, gobble.
.Both Boomer and Rowsie turn aside when offered their food. (Hmm, could one of them be the puker?)
.Polly flinched with her shot. Sure, Miss Doodle, heap the guilt.
.Dog goes into a barky frenzy at some interloper in the yard. Neighbors probably trying to sleep in on this holiday morning, Not too successful in finding and grabbing a black dog in the still dark morning.
.Boomer, my little 15 year old 7 pounder chases something (a fly, moth, dust bunnie) up and over the bookcase in the office. He can jump down, but he can't jump up. Wedged between the bookcase and the wall. OK, move the TV, lighten the load on the shelves, pull the bookcase out, retrieve my great white (long haired, blue eyed) hunter.
For the moment, everyone is finally quiet. At lest pretending to be asleep. Dog goes to daycare in an hour; Polly gets +2. And I get to go back to sleep!!!!! (boss e-mailed yesterday; I have the day off
)
Vines and wishes.
