Mouse hit a low number today, 8th day since her first earned reduction, 60 on the ReliOn meter, and 51 on the Alphatrak. I had a feeling I should check both meters. Almost like checking different ears.....on the 10th of April, it was 64/48 for the two ears. I measured with two different meters, instead of using the relion on both. 51 on the AT comes out to somewhere in the 30s for the relion.....
I gave her 2tbl of gravy lovers fancy feast, along with her low carb food, since she's been hungry lately. I thought it was just the spring weather, cool, breezy makes her playful and hungry normally, but yesterday was a record for her. I didn't let her overeat, but she did run for her brother's dish, and lapped up his last spoonful. this happened twice.....so, yes, very hungry.
I'm taking this as another earned reduction. New to reducing dosage....is it normal to have it this close together? Should I reduce to 3.0 units of Lantus, or go for the 2.75? I'm leaning towards the 2.75, because I just have a feeling she's headed for another reduction soon. No reason, just feeling.
