And there she drops. It's looking like 3.25 might be too high for her too. I kinda wonder if the inflammation from her surgery in late June took a lot longer to go down than we thought and now she needs less insulin.

It's been 2 hours since she got any MC but I'm going to give it another 30 minutes before I head to bed just in case she drops again. Hoping to see a higher number.

For long term diabetics, the reduction point is 40 (and not 50) on a human meter. However, considering that you are giving her 15% carbs to keep her over 50, I would take a reduction. Like you said, fixing her dental issues might see her going down in dosing.

Thanks Bhooma! I was going to try to stick to the 3 separate days under 50 but it's really making me nervous especially considering my main meter (Contour Next One) gives me constant errors when she's below 60, even with a brand new meter and new strips. I have more Nova Max strips ordered but they won't be here for a few days. I'm probably going to go buy some ReliOn strips to keep on hand just in case she drops low again before the Nova Max strips get here.

Okay she's up to 72 so I'm heading to bed. I got my calipers set up for 3u in the morning so my husband can take care of Tessa on his own and let me sleep in a bit.
