Hi, everyone - It's been a few days since I've had decent computer access to post and in the meantime, Lily has gone way green and now OTJ. The last dose she got was .25 on Friday a.m. so it's been three days since she's had any insulin and her morning BG has been 62, 71, and 76, steadily. Her PM levels have been consistently low, too, even as we unpack boxes and move furniture all around her. I couldn't be more thrilled and truly believe that for her, managing FD was all about the food change. She's looking bright, her fur is shiny and she's climbing stairs and acting like the persnickety girl that I love.

Many thanks for your support. I don't know what I would have done without this group. I know she may rebound and I'll be ready if she does.

Thanks, everyone! Lily has decided that she loves the green zone, sans juice, and she's hanging there for now. 60 tonight. Is that normal? Since I never tested BG before FD, I don't know what her normal zone is, but isn't she hanging a little low? I thought I read that normal is between 80-120...what's she doing so far down?

60 is great! No worries, she can't go too low without insulin. We even had a cat here who hung in the 20's OTJ, though that WAS unusual.

Check your PM, Carolyn needs pictures, after 14 days we party!
