Another wonderful night with Harley. He fell again into the greens but because I was so tired, I gave him MC then later LC to keep his bg up. I know that I need to wait for him to fall to 40 but I am so afraid that at night I will miss it and he will really go hypo on me. Last time that happened and I tested it read Lo - no numbers, just Lo. I really panicked then and I don't want to go through that again.

Also woke up to no internet...I was going through withdrawal until I got to one of my facilities and could use theirs.

Right now he is 188/+8.75. I have changed meters on this reading. For this test: old meter / 182, new meter / 188. Not much of a difference. ss updated with last nights numbers and reference to meter change.

Great job managing the cycle; he didn't end up in the cellar and he didn't take the express train to outer Mongolia. Nice to see some blues and yellows instead of just greens and pinks. It'll do Harley good.

Beans have to sleep some time. Don't obsess over waiting up until he hits the 40's on a night when your dead dog tired. Do what you did - gently guide the cycle until it looks like it's safe for you to sleep. If it's meant to be the 40's will happen and you'll catch it. (I think they will).

Going down the dosing scale can be alot scarier/more emotional than going up.

amen to sandy's comments!
coming down the dosing scale can be much scarier than going up. you have to take care of you, too.
harley's doing great!

Thanks Sandy and Jill. Yes, going down is much scarier. It's a juggling act - what is too much or too little. He is up a bit now 199/+10. Still have to work out the feeding times.

Re: 8/9 Harley PMPS 227

Ending the day today at 227 - not bad. This is the lowest PMPS in a while. Anxious to see where Harley goes from here. Having guests over so I won't find him for a while.

How long a while? ? This would be a good time for a +1 and/or a +2

Still a low start...it has been many cycles since he has been this low at night. I think at least since 7/22. He was 238 on 8/3.

Yeah, 07/22 was at 4.5u
08/03 was the 1st cycle of 3.75u; by the 3rd cycle he was in the cellar....

I wonder where Harley will go tonight? Maybe up a bit in response to being green/blue/yellow for over 24 hours now?
