Ok here are the photos.

Basically you start larger on caliper and use bottom end not alligator end. Plunger in syringe at zero.

You push down on caliper end till it hits the "handle" portion of syringe. Do not push to hard just till it stops. Take that measurement and add it to your dose measurement. Measure that on calipers and lock caliper in place (very important step lol) So for me 1.35mm for a 1.125 fat unit. New number. Put insulin in syringe push till bottom of plunger reaches bottom of caliper and using "handle" of syringe as guide. Do not push to hard it will be inaccurate and you lose to much insulin. I added pics of dosing using original method of measuring with caliper to show its accurate.

It seems like an extra step bit way less light and magnification needed.

the light i use is the same light i use to take ares tests. it just hangs in my bedroom (i take his tests and shoot on bed cause appt is so small)
its a simple switch. and the glasses are...well glasses. so very simple.
