8/8 Emma AMPS 323, a lot of blue!, and PMPS 291

Yesterday

Good morning!

Well, she's started in the pink and is down into the blue for +3. She's still hanging out under the dining room table, and was very happy when I went in there and sat down next to her for a few minutes. All P's are accounted for, but I'm wondering if we may have to go to the vet for a urine culture. A LOT of LB action, and she's back to being pretty sleepy. I've been able to head off a few infections over the past year with the grapefruit seed extract, but maybe I didn't catch this one fast enough. Hopefully I can catch some urine tomorrow; I'll follow her around after I get home from work. The doctor usually likes to get a sterile sample directly from the cat, but they've never been able to do it with Emma because she pees all over the place the minute we walk in the door. Oh I dread a month of clavamox... :YMSIGH:

Nice +3 for pretty Emma! I am doing 14 days on Clavamox now...ugh...not even a full week until Tuesday! :?
Raja has been pretty good about it but this morning she acted like "what, THIS again???" So it is going to be a long week for us.

I really hope you don't have to deal with a UTI but getting it treated may have a very positive effect on Emma's numbers. Take a look at Kasha's SS. All of the blacks and reds went away when the UTI was treated.

Nice drop for +3. I'd plan on getting a couple of additional tests in to see where Emma takes this.

Hi Kristen & Emma, Let's not have an epidemic of UTIs! Stu heads to the vet tomorrow to have his urine tested, too. What's going on here??? Good luck to us both, and to Pat & Raja!!!

lots of kitty urine problems lately, hope Emma is okay and you're able to help her. The +3 is great though!

+4.5 and still dropping! She's also very interested in my chocolate chip pancakes for some reason. That's not usually what attracts her, but she was practically climbing on my plate while I was eating on the couch. I guess they smell good!

She's a little perkier now, and has decided to join me in the living room. And she's not even under the piano! Probably because all the crazy ones are outside wrestling in the yard ;-)

I'll test again in a while....I'm just hanging around the house in my pjs for now anyway!

Emma had a nice blue surf for quite a while this afternoon - hooray! She was back in the yellows (228) at +9, and her PMPS is 291. She's a pretty perky girl tonight, especially since my parents left with their dog. She hasn't ventured back under the dining room table, which makes life a little easier come testing time!

I'll be around for the night, and will grab a few tests before bedtime. Enjoy the end of your weekend!
