Did I do the link right?

Ok so is this called surfing? We're just going to surf low numbers today's, right? I was reading something that I should be testing at the +10 and + 11 ? Does it even look like Chinookie has a consistent nadir on the spreadsheet?

I'm really nervous because testing would be very difficult next week. We are both out of town for work, and my neighbor who loves Chinookie is babysitting and checking in on him, throughout the day, but I feel like giving insulin is already so much to ask of her.
But if numbers keep going down, I want to know what the amps and PMPS numbers are before she shoots up my cat!

Well nevermind. DH did the test this morning, and didn't wake me up. Now he tells me he thinks he might not have had enough blood for a good test.... And now im getting a 302. Oh well. I'll just keep testing....

Re: 8/8 Chinookie AMP 191

I know I start to sound like a broken record but please, get a before bed test EVERY night. It's entirely possible that Chinookie was in low numbers last night and what you're now seeing is a bounce. I can't tell if this is surfing since there's no data for 12 hours.

What is this? What could be causing such spikes? Bounces? Oh patience pants....

Chinookie has been peeing normally but hasn't pooped today. I caught him twice snoozing in his clean litter box???
I'm hoping he's not eating dog food that has been left out by my occasionally finicky doggies. I'm sure that would cause a spike in sugar!

I've been away every evening this week at vacation bible school - DH just started a new job at a church commuting into Pittsburgh so it's been crazy town with our schedules and testing. I'm really trying to be patient, and I know most of you have had and loved your kitties for so long and are committed to them. I'm trying hard to describe the feelings I have for this little furry stray that picked us 3 months ago and made our already hectic and stressful lives even more packed and financially stressed. I can't give him up, he'd have no options. I don't want to give him up, cause he's lovely and fits right in here, and is no trouble at all - but goodness this testing and insulin and WORRY is apparently getting to me tonight... I'm going to try to stay awake for a bit to see if the numbers come down any more I guess...
