I suspect I'm expecting her numbers to come down faster than I should.

She ate a tiny bit of Sheba pate chicken this morning, followed by a handful of freeze-dried Mariner's Medley. Right before I left for work, I warmed the leftover Weruva chicken from yesterday for a few seconds in the microwave and offered that...and she ate about half of it! So now I feel better. Still not as much as she should be eating, but at this point, I'm just glad when she eats ANYTHING.

Woohoo for eating!!!! Sometimes you just have to celebrate the small victories. It would be so lovely if we could find her a furever home where she could be an only so she could just graze. Or they could be home all day to cater to the little diva.

Yes, I'd love for her to go to a home where all her needs can be properly catered to. (After all, that's why we're here, right...to cater to our Feline Overlords??) I feel a bit like I did with my soul-kitty Casey-cat (GA), who fought CKD the last 4 years of her life - I got to where I just filled my pockets with treats, so I could offer them to her whenever she seemed to feel like eating. And I really, really, really wished I could be at home with her all day to do it!

Not sure if you saw it, but Sunny ate quite a bit last night, which made me do a happy-dance.

Yes I did see that and we were happy dancing here too!!!

As my favorite sign that a friend made me says:

I'm over loved
I'm over fed
I'm over pampered
I DESERVE so MUCH better than THIS!!

These 300s are really bumming me out.

Sunny seems to be a Verus girl ATM. She ate about 1/3 a can of Verus chicken tonight, plus more Mariner's Medley and some Stella & Chewy's.
