8/7 Phoenix, I think I am going to be up all night

I increased Phoenix's insulin last night from 10.75 units to 11.25. Overnight, there wasn't much change. But even after eating his lunch at + 5 this afternoon, his BG is only 178. This is great news and thank you all for your advice.

I do think that when I give him his p.m. injection, he is going to go low. If he gets down to 100, I am going to get out of bed and brew some strong coffee and munch on chocolate covered coffee beans.

The great news is that Phoenix has stayed low after only his second injection at 11.25 units.

Thank you, I do believe I am in for a sleepless night. Phoenix's PMPS was 112. But this is far better than the 400 and over he had this week. It is worth losing some sleep. Thank goodness I am retired. I don't know how the rest of you do it and have to work as well.

Hi Susan, looks like Phoenix headed up and you might just get some sleep tonight!

No update on Bandit. Still peeing much more than usual and I'm wondering what to do next - in terms of finding out what's wrong. 2 vets could not find anything.
