Yesterday was..... Flat yellow day! Mannie ended up blue he night before, after a short bounce to the pink zone. We almost made the greens the night before, and really did expect him to be high yesterday morning. It was nice and a relief to find him mid yellow, where he spent most of the day. A nice resting day for the Nanner King. Evening saw the onset of the blues.... WOOT! Well done Mannie. Maybe we can go there again today? Lubs ya big guy!

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Our heat wave is no more.... we made 75 yesterday, thankfully no more 90's. Mannie was so so grateful: 75 meant he could sleep on top of the nanners and in his kitty bed. One happy dude! :cool: :cool: He did make a few trips outdoors to check on his domain, secured the perimeter a few times, caught a few sun rays. I told him to enjoy the "cool" of today, as the warmer temps were returning by mid week. Poor Mannie..... back to melting in all that long black fur, and cooling his shaved belly on the tile floors... I'm just glad he has found a place that, for him, feels good when things get toasty. It's good to see him back with his nanners yesterday. They were scattered, then they were not, then they were, then not... :shock: This morning we had a great test, feed, shoot and clean plate club (YAY), AND the auto feeder was USED by Mannie, (YAY, and back at it, at least for today!) :shock: Elsa still thinks it has her name on it (as always)... so I am back to running interception on the feeder.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! I am off to have breffis with my son, and later today a trip to Seattle to see friends. WOOT! my weekly social outing. :cool: :lol:

Hey everybody! What's up???? I fee the need for...... road trippin'! Ya know, cruisin' the highways, kitty tunes on the radio, snacks to munch on, niptinis and micro brews to sip on.... friends and places to visit. I will put the top down on the roadster so we can have the wind in out furs and whiskers SWEET! You guys in? Maybe we could find our way to Rusty porches after for an evening of chillaxin'. What'd'ya guys think? Let me know - I am ready for anything! ~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle. Hope Mannie enjoys the next few cool days. It was in the low 50's here this morning. Mannie's long dark fur must really soak up the heat. Good thing for shaved tummies, and cool floors :-D

Hi Barb - I think he is. He had to have been so hot when we were in the 90's... poor thing just laid there. :? Fog had just moved in here, ought to cool things off even more. sheshhhh - fog in august! :roll:

Hi Helen - :-D on being the color of his nanners. and yes - that is a yellow looks like a banana kitty toy, stuffed with catnip, really good catnip. OOOOO! I hadn't thought of an un-rippend one. green is green after all. They should make that.... :lol:

Morning Michelle, oh...Caramel Maciattos, yum, more foam and less milk with them, I think is how they are made. Hope Mannie comes down today. I think we are getting your heat today, supposed to be hot and humid. Have a wonderful time having breffifs with your son and later coffee in Seattle. Sounds like a fun social day. Enjoy and looks like Mannie is giving permission,

Yes, Mannie, road trippin sounds like fun. I'll bring some fixins for fish tacos we can make when visiting Rusty.

Hi guys .. uh oh .. you know what they say about these flat yellow cycles! Hopefully you don't have any plans for today michelle! So glad to hear your heat wave broke .. we'll hit 90's today, but after that we're seeing mid 70's for a few days, thank goodness! Have a great day!

Hi Ann - Caramel Maciattos: yupp they are GOOD! I do too on Mannie - the +2 seems to indicate that he will, it is a drop, and usually with him that is what it means. YAY! Thanks on today - it will be good, and so nice to see everyone!

Nice blue Mannie. Hope he keeps surfing blue for you. We're back around 90 again today, tomorrow and Thursday. Then we're supposed to get a break for the weekend with the low 80s. Hopefully it won't keep getting in the 90s for you.

Hi Carla - me too on the blue surf - looks like I might just get that. YAY! WOW on the temps for you. We have really cooled down, like 65 today. what a change from 90 on Sunday. The rest of the week is now predicted to be in the mid 70's, more than doable!

Wow - Mannie is seeing so much blue these last few days. It's wonderful to see.

I can hardly wait to get home to west coast temperatures again. It's mostly mid to upper 90's in the afternoons here. Ugh! At least it's a dry heat.

Hi Ann - thanks! It was a nice recovery for him - love those BLUE slides! and yes we do on the blue smiley! Ann of Ann and Tess found one.... But I never can git it to post here!

Hi Barb - I so agree - and so hope that it will continue tonight. Almost makes me "fearful" for that +2. That test is always so telling for him. I am going to have to work on that smiley!!

HI Wendy - I agree - it is wonderful to see so much blue. WOO HOO! And am SO SURE that you will welcome normal PNW temps - it has to be really HOT there. Good though that it is a dry heat. Those humid hot days are so tough. I hope all is well with DH and Neko.

Hi Ella - It was such a nice slide - loved it! I hope that the BMG plays well on your porch tonight. :-D and you are welcome... I could so relate to what you wrote about, You'll conquer that mountain yet!
