What a beautiful set of numbers Mr. KT handed me this morning! I just love that kind of number - not too low toward the end of the cycle but still good!
I figured out something else interesting - Freeze dried LIVER treats raise his BG!!!!! When I couldn't find chicken in the past or wanted to give him something different, I've picked up freeze dried Liver - he likes them about as much as the chicken. I read someone else's condo with that same suspect - it's TRUE! I'll leave off liver treats now....
Rain last night extinguished the fires burning near us. WE only got 1/8th inch but people around us got as much as 1 1/2". It ALWAYS does that to us - either dumps on our head only or splits and goes on either side of us.
All going well here this morning - SCRUFFY'S GAINED WEIGHT!!!! That's our only 'heart (CHF)' baby left since we lost Lacey. He's just been SO SO skinny but he's got Siamese in his mix which doesn't help. He's looked like someone's starved dump. It makes me smile a BIG HUGE SMILE when I see no ribs and it's NOT fluid! I've started giving him kitten food which he's eating better and is higher in fat content. I've also been bringing him in with Pepper and Schniggles when it's hot or storming - he sits in my lap. Yesterday, Pepper came up and loved on him for a few minutes, I let him down to roam. All he wanted to do was look out at the rain but he didn't seem uncomfortable. Right now Leo's in Scruffy's room so he's been displaced to the greenhouse at night. I don't like it but until we get things settle back down, that's what I feel is best.
How about a picture on our wall today! I haven't visited our photobucket lately. Can you find Sir SpikeKitty hiding in PLAIN SIGHT? Clue...check to the right of the plastic litter container - he's a gray striped tabby.
HUGS to all that visit today!!! I'm SO thrilled that Steph got her new baby Lexi - just a beautiful girl.
