Not a bad night. Up every 2 hrs to get a bg, but this AM it is 366. It was suggested that I give smaller meals (more often??) which does make sense. This AM gave Harley 3/4 can FF and he had it eaten almost before I could get the shot into him. Then he was looking like - ok, where is the rest of breakfast.

I will try to get more bg tests today but doubt they will be every 2 hrs. I still am praying for greens and blues.

Re: 8/7 Harley AMPS 366

They never get used to the smaller portions I guess....they look at it and seem to get so disappointed...
Is this all there is? :YMSIGH:
Hoping you guys have a good day today...good that you will be able to get some test in too!
Hope you have a good Saturday!

Re: 8/7 Harley AMPS 366

My feeding schedule for Do Lou is 4 meals a day shot time then around +6 then shot time again and then about +10 or 11 at night and he sometimes gets a snk in the night he is will not let me sleep. It took him quite a while to get used to not being allowed to have dry food and not being able to free feed but he is used to it now and seems to know when its time to eat.

Tonight I am a little late with the food and the shot – about 20 minutes. This AM Sienne recommended I not feed a full can of FF at once but spread it out. Thought that was crazy but WOW – his numbers don’t drop drastically and are only 47 points apart. Thanks Sienne, I do appreciate this. If I can live through the crying for food until he gets use to this – life will be ok.

The diarrhea that he had yesterday has resolved itself. No problems in the LB.

Gave him ½ can FF with shot and will give the other ½ in about 3 hours. BG was as follows:

366 AMPS
272 +3
303+6
298 +9
319 PMPS

That does not look bad to me, but what do you experienced people think? NO ketones.

This looks better than yesterday, those yellows are a welcome sight to replace the red. :-D
Of course we all are wishing some blues and greens for Harley too!

And I'm very glad that the diarrhea resolved itself.

I like today! Flat is good, cats seem to feel good with flat numbers, plus they are easier on us because we have some idea what to expect. I'm glad today was a better day. This ride is a roller coaster, for sure.
