Bouncy kitty. She acts more normal and more comfortable when she's in the red zone. Apparently she has been sleepy today but acting pretty normal. Lets see tonight if she bounces back down. I, for one, am exhausted. Maybe more me than charlie.

Yes, it looks like a bounce. Ms. Liver just isn't used to blue numbers yet but she will as Charlie spends more time in better numbers. The bouncing will get better. Take care of yourself too. Anne and I split the shots. I do the mornings and she does the evenings and stays up late. Then we can both get more sleep. Hang in there, you'll figure out what works for you.

Can anyone explain to me the logic in why Charlie's numbers decreased last night and kept going down all the way to +9 (rather than having a nadir of any sort at +3, 4 or 6)?

I want to sleep tonight, but I don't know if I should be concerned about a more rapid drop (as last night I sort of wonder if my continual testing and feeding of tuna treats might have kept her stress levels just a tad bit higher to keep her out of the green no fly zone).

Thoughts?

Really just want to be sure my Charlie girl is safe tonight.

Fully understand that since there's still infection and leukocytes and this can't be fully tested until next Monday, that there will be some abnormalities in her numbers, but this wouldn't effect the curve to go down and stay down for 9 straight hours, would it? Or is that just what happens immediately after a bounce upwards (a more drastic free fall down)?

Sorry, Jill, that no one got to you earlier. You can always bump your condo up by opening it, clicking on "post reply" and in the text box, type "bump".

Charlie was clerking a bounce last night and her curve was very typical. When they clear bounces, they typically just decrease from one PS to another without a nadir.n you have to be cautious about shooting Ifmthey continue to drop at the next PS but Charlie did not...she came up.

Gracie did this a lot to us on lantus. We just set alarms and got up to check her.
