Good Morning LL! This morning has been one thing after another. First I found an ant invasion in the timed feeder. I had seen a few in the last week, but found the entry points an d sprayed. This time lots and I can't find out where they came from. grr_red I checked all the windows and doors, went outside to look for activity around the foundation. There is cement around all of the kitchen and LR area Nada! They must be coming up from under the house and no way to get at them.

Tess eats in the LR so I can make sure she finishes without going to the kitchen 10 times. Looked and definitely saw ants in the carpet sooooo ... Vacuum monster time! Tess fled of course and I had forgotten to close the dressing room door. LOTS of hiding places. After I finished vacuuming it took me an hour to find her, underneath the tablecloths in the linen cupboard. Needless to say the +3 test was still a little high.

Now I just found water under the kitchen sink and can't locate the leak. Everything is pullout, mopped up and newspapers spread out to see if I can find the drips, Nada again.

I don't think I'll get to too many condos today. or post much unless Tess decides to go diving. ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

WCR Only 4 Ps , but Tess is eating a lot of raw, so that isn't unusual to have less poo. Very good appetite, exploring everything that got move and wants her cuddle time now. No teef brushing, only gum rinse.
 
Geez, Ann, you and Pat need to get together for a drinking11 ! I'm sorry you've had such a rough morning. I hope the day gets better. Tess and Buzz are surfing yellow together, it looks like. Send Tess to Moonie's and to Shadow's tonight so you can get some R&R! :YMHUG:
 
You can send Tess to Moonie's right now...they are over there keeping her company since her Mama went away for 3 days and she is all alone. You have had such a morning Ann....I am so sorry...
As Sarah said, Shadow was hiding this morning when I got up... :roll: well, actually, he wasn't hiding but I just couldn't find him! He was right there behind the vertical blinds by the sliding glass door. What a time that was....
We had thunder after his lunch so he is in the closet now...(at least I think that's where he is....)

Sorry about the leak and the ants. And the vacuuming...hope things get better for you today...

Oh, what a terrible morning! I sympathize about the ants. I did battle with the teeny tiny ones this year. They are disgusting! Normally, after that, the bigger, blacker ones come to party, but not this year. I found their hill, accidentally, while weedwacking, and destroyed them before they could come in.

I assume Tess is out partying by now. I haven't gotten Checkers off yet. Mama bean's been busy.
I hope the rest of your day is better than this morning was. :smile:
 
OMG! and wow.... You have my sympathy on the ant invasion - that happened to me about 6-7 years ago - they were just everywhere. not meaning to make light of the situation - but these guys had a line - marching through my kitchen - two abreast right across my floor, at the end they had this spiral pattern - in and out, and back down the line.... there was not enough spray.... never did find the entry point... oh I do wish you well and a solution to removal.

and the sink.... i hate water.... am still in a claim battle with a well known retailer over a leak with a new frig, and a faulty install, that we did not discover until 3 weeks later when the water made itself known through the downstairs ceiling... boy oh boy - you have all the sympathy i can muster!

so - ship Tess off to the parties - Mannie needs some company - it has been vet day for him, and he is so ready to party!

Arg and arg to your drips and cooties! You totally have my sympathy! We had the cooties running rampant here earlier this year. HUGE BLACK carpenter ants taht were stampeding in the wall next to my computer and I could hear the crawling, scurrying creepy crunchy moving sounds next to me. It nearly drove me wild. Two trips from the exterminator and drilling holes in the wall later, all is now quiet and cootie free.

You better test your own BG after all of that!
 
What a day for you, Ann! Wish I could help with the ants. Have you tried borox + baking soda? It works on roaches. Just sprinkle it around where you see them. Also bummer on the leak! Try wrapping the threads with that super-thin plumbers' teflon tape. Or wind them with thin string. But best of all, send Tess to the party tonight at Pat's. Stu isn't feeling well and needs some tlc from his friends.
Tomorrow will be a better day!!
