Cobb seems to have recovered from that fur shot. I guess it didn't deplete his depot too bad.
We had NO TEARS at dropoff this morning. Well, no tears from Matty.   My baby doesn't need me anymore!!!   As we were leaving the house this morning, Matty didn't want me to pick him up. That was cool, I was loaded down with bags anyway! So I let him walk out into the garage by himself before putting him in the car. As I was driving to the daycare I thought to myself, maybe part of the problem is that me putting him down, hugging him and trying to detach him from my body is a big production. Maybe I should hold his hand and walk him into the building and room. That way he's already on his own two feet and maybe it will be easier for him to make the transition. So I walked him in the building. No tears. I got to the room and walked him in the door. No tears. I put his bag on the hook and said "hello" to the teacher. No tears. I knelt down to hug and kiss him and tell him I love him. He turned away from me.   I caught the teacher's eye. She shrugged and smiled. I just held my hands up and backed out of the room. I think he caught the door closing and he started crying for, literally, 10 seconds. Then he sighed and walked away from the door to the table where they were having breakfast. It's ok...I'll be alright. Matt misses having a baby. He says we need another one. Perhaps Cobb will have some news to share on that front in a few months. When that happens, he may commandeer my computer and make a desperate post for one of you to adopt (save) him.
Anyway, it's Wednesday! Half way through the week! I hope everyone is having a good week so far!
