8/5 FCC AMPS 88, +2 68, +3.25 63, PMPS 88, +3 70

So he dropped 20 points again, but started off a little higher that yesterday. He went from 88 to 68.

Not sure if I should feed LC? Do I need to feed MC? Also should I be testing him again?

He is 63 at 3.25. Finally let me get him. That seems relatively flat to me. I will feed a little LC.

That is a good sign that he is feeling better and "not going to take this anymore". Hope the rest of your evening will be safe and uneventfull, Acadaca. Think I will be signing off the board for tonight. I can only take so much of the feline diabetes and need a break from time to time. Good night, and again, thanks for always checking on my sweet Susie.:)

Totally understand! You are always on here with words of support and encouragement. Good luck with Susie's numbers. Thank you.

Have a good night

Yes. He’s flat. The lc seems to be holding him steady.

Thank you for confirming. I'm still a little unclear with small dips because I know there is meter variance. I'm actually going to have to switch meters, but am hoping I can make it through with this one until I leave.

Greatly appreciated.

88 to 68 was a bit of a drop but he was high enough that LC was enough. And a test after 2 hours may have been enough. Just clarifying this for the next time. :-)
He's looking good!

Thank you. I am trying to keep the information stuffed in my head. It might be slowly working. I appreciate it.

Third night running he is 88 for his PMPS. I just checked and I am going to run out of the strips before I leave. I was hoping it would work out that I would have just enough, but there are only four. Should I switch meters tonight or wait for the morning? Do I need to use both meters the first couple of times or can I just test myself for comparison?

Switch in the morning and don't bother with comparing the two on him. He is diffcult to test as it is. We usually say not to bother comparing meters at all since it's an exercise in futility.
You can test yourself to see what you get on both - preferably with the same drop of blood. Just out of curiosity.

Okay, thank you. I have tons of strips for the new meter so I wasn't even paying too much attention. I will definitely test myself on the same drop of blood tomorrow. I'll be quite curious. Watch this meter all of the sudden put all his numbers in blue.

Can you get a later test tonight +3 or after?

Yes, any time tonight. If I can't stay up I will set an alarm. Is it better to wait later than +3?

Thank you!
