Me thinks that Spot missed his 4 am feeding...got some kitty kisses right before the alarm went off this morning and that is almost a sure sign that someone beat him to it.
Spot enjoyed his dinner date at Auntie Dian's last night. He spent some time in the room with all of Dian's kitties, but he had his little spot under the table where he could survey everything around him to make sure someone wasn't sneaking up on him. When it was time for test/dinner/shot, he went up to his room and decided that he wanted to stay there for a while. He made the occasional visit downstairs to make sure he wasn't missing anything, walked around to make his presence known, then went back upstairs and was either in his room or hanging out at the top of the steps.
We also had the occasional HISSS HISSS HISSS....I think this was his was of saying....I am Spottie, hear me roar....I believe he was the oldest cat there and wanted to make sure everyone knew that he was King, lol...He was getting kind of cranky towards the end of the evening, so we had to leave.
This morning he was his usual furry purry kind of kitty. Of course he finished his breakfast and then headed off to the recliner in hopes that I would follow eventually and give him a treat (well, of course I did). His grammie bean is home today, so he should be able to spend some q.t. on his chair outside.
Well, I best get going...at work, you know, and should really get some stuff done...but I want to do a quick look-see through condos before I do. Hope everyone has a great day!!!
