Hello everyone!
Stella, Boo and I are off to a very slow start.
I have been sick for almost two weeks, and Stella seems to love every second of my being around because she is seeing more green now than the rest of the year! (Or perhaps her bean is just around to catch them ;-) )
Stella is fit and happy. This past year has been a long one with her having been diagnosed with diabetes. If you don't know our story, Stella had neuropathy and it was a long road uphill...but she recovered from that. Stella is at a high dose of Lantus right now 3.25U for her, she has taken her dose up and down the ladder and it has been a wild ride. The year has made it all easier though and it is no longer an 'emotional' roller coaster.
Stella has really bonded to me in all of this and that has been one huge plus! My kitty Boo has to share me now with Stella but it is ok. They are back to chasing each other around the apartment twice a day and I had just been thinking the rythm of the house hold is almost that of Stella's pre diagnosis. Stella is almost exactly as she used to be (but heck, she is a Sr Kitty born in 1999...so every year is a year older...hahaha...
