Yesterday

Hi Everyone,
Well, the chocolate chip cookie day was lots of fun, but the weather was a bit scary (thunder storms; wind; wild water). We were out all day paddling and partying and Rusty held the fort. He apparently slept all day and didn't eat much. He enjoyed an hour outdoors when we got home (the weather cleared, for a while).

Tomorrow we'll be paddling again: a paddle we were supposed to lead in June but had to postpone because of floods and high water, fast current. So I hope Rusty will eat better tomorrow. Right now he's camped on the couch with his dinner dish, waiting for me to sit with him and hold the dish. I don't think he was monitoring the lagoon today.

Ah, but nice and safe, Rusty, while the beans are playing. Considerate fellow. Ond a personal note, I find sleeping all day to be a perfectly acceptable pastime.

Darn, I missed cookie day. I guess for penalty I'll have to eat twice as many tomorrow!
