WCR: mocha got a +9 spot check last night which is unusual for her, but she was all up in my face and wouldn't leave. She wasn't yelling like she normally does, she was just very insistent that I wake up. Pawing around my face, licking my forehead and and eyelids ... so I got up and tested her and saw 78 on the meter. So we went back to bed when she finally curled up next to me and went to sleep, but before she did, she let out one long :YMSIGH: it was kinda funny.

wow look at this awesome AMPS for Mocha!! She must have been excited and wanted you to know how well she was doing last night.

I agree, Mocha wants to you to see all her pretty numbers! Spot gets pretty intense with his kitty kisses too...he will lick my face, my forhead, my eyes, until I pretty much move and then off he goes in hopes that I will follow him to his food dish. It's funny...if I move but don't get up, he's right back...he also knows the meaning of rinse, lather, repeat...but only for kitty kisses! My civvie Ralph also gives out those long sighs right before his is ready to fall asleep. It is the cutest thing, isn't it :smile:

How's she eating today?

It's nice to see Mocha doing well, beautiful cycle last nite.

I get the long sighs too, it is sweet!

Hi, and nice amps for Mocha today - really great!

I love those sighs... Mannie can get pretty insistent when he wants something too - especially when he wants me to heck his numbers. Once there, I get this long heavy sigh. Funny it is.

If you are going to be woken up in the middle of the night then it better be worth the test....green is always worth it. :mrgreen:

Mocha is turning over a new leaf... very pretty numbers...but I am not going to say anything either! :mrgreen:

well I fed her MC at +3 and she dropped by +4, so I fed her more MC with the gravy that comes inside that can.

I appreciate you guys "not sayin nuthin" I know it's kinda crazy to think this, but ever since we have come to accept this is a part of our daily lives, and that mocha will most likely forever need insulin and we stopped getting excited about these green numbers, it's like she is PROVING to us that she can do this ... so we are still downplaying the numbers letting her prove herself to us ....

guess we should of known better then to skip a +2. Feeding her HC gravy with karo syrup to bring her up. Will reduce in morning if she is still relatively low, or if she is high enough, we will shoot through it. I really, realllllly don't like taking dose reductions so close together.

I've never used the pens, I've got to get to the vet's and have her write me a new prescription for pens. I'm guessing the lantus is wearing out. Her numbers are just
not great. Doodles was doing really good for a minute :lol: but she seems to be stuck here with a blue thrown in. But we are new into the dose increase to :YMSIGH:
