Good Morning World! Yesterday

Mr. KT is back in the yellows instead of that ugly pink - MAY have touched his toe in blue last night but it wouldn't have been by much, we're still clearing kibble. If his history stays true, he'll drop either this cycle or tonight's cycle.

Now the other STRANGE news....dogs using litter boxes! Ever since Schniggles 'adopted us' May 5th, when I told her it was time to go potty, she'd head to a litter box. I thought she was like many of our other dogs that think cat poop is candy so headed her off as well as blocked access to litter boxes. I'm trying to rearrange animals here since Leo's joined us so had a fresh filled litter box sitting out yesterday. I headed out with Schniggles, got interrupted and looked back just in time to see her DIGGING HER HOLE and peeing in the litter!!!!!! I'd noticed she digs a hole outside then squats and pees in it like a cat....PUGS ARE WIERD! But SO SO sweet! I don't think I'll unblock Pepper's as I'm not sure how she'd feel about Schnigs using it.

BIG HUGS to all that visit today!!! We'll be working outside until it gets too hot...it's only 89 right now, feels cool!

That's an interesting development with Schniggles. Could she have lived in a household with cats and maybe was trained in her early years to use a litterbox?

KT, that's a good AMPS, but there's room to come down a bit.

89 degrees feels cool? OMG!! We're having one of our hottest days of the year and it is only (by your standards) 87 degrees at 1 P.M. To us it feels unbearably hot. :lol:

Hi Lyresa,

That's cute Schniggles going in the litter box. I know of a lot of small dogs that do that. It comes in handy if you live in a winter climate and don't feel like walking them in the snow. :lol:

It surprised me altho' I've heard of doing it with small dogs, especially city dogs who's owners work long hours but I never figured I'd end up with one!

I'm certain she lived with cats in the past and I think she thinks SHE'S a cat - she pays absolutely NO attention to any cat, not curious at all, they're SUPPOSED to be in her world, but she IS curious about Sassy and Sasha, the 'house' little dogs.
