Just a few questions -
Susan - thank you for stopping by! I try to read as many other condo's and absorb as much information as I can (so much to learn!) so I hardly get a chance to post in other condo's, so thank you for the support! I have two questions, there actually is a Harbor Freight store near here, but can you explain how to use the calipers. I know I have probably used up my quota of dumb questions on this board, but when I followed the link to them I was not sure how they work. Right now I have contact lenses in, and I use a pair of reading glasses, but maybe stronger reading glasses and the magnifier will help. Thank You.
Also - one of my other cats Oliver, has been coughing and sneezing for weeks, my vet put him on two different antibiotics, right now I am injecting him with baytril for 20 days, but it does not seem to be working. I have been wondering if it is actually allergies and not an infection, I saw that your Sammy is on Zyrtec, did your vet prescribe it? How well does it work?
Deb - I did get other BG saturday night I just forgot to put them in Charms SS! It is updated now!
Wendy - You are right about not seeing the bounces before, all I saw was red ,red, and more red! Now I am spoiled by the beautiful colors and greedy for the greens! I am not great at the shot thing, but at least I am no longer hyperventilating each time! I gave a lot of fur shots in the past, so I probably inject way too slowly still. I am wondering if when Charms was first diagnosed and he was on Prozinc, if all the fur shots caused that type of insulin to not be affective, I knew nothing about feline diabetes then , other than give him a shot twice a day. So I now I am wondering if all those fur shots were acting like deductions, do you know if the Prozinc acts like the Lantus, and would I have been better off staying with the Prozinc? Charms was up to 6u and when we switched and his +6 Bg, the only test I ever took , was never lower than around 360. Just curious what you think.
