Good morning LL. We are really sorry to hear of Tarragon's health issue from yesterday and hope for his speedy recovery.

This pair of patience pants is getting a good breaking in. I hope I get to take them off soon. He is better this morning than last night. He was out in the back yard doing his business and checking things out. Still a little more wobbly than usual but better. Watching over the back yard is his responsibility. My job is to get him to eat.

Thanks, Julie. Zener seems to be listening to you! He is doing much better. He's in the window looking out at the front yard. Not much action out there right now but a few birdies at the feeder are always interesting.

Devon: I hope not either! This last one was rather traumatic. BG is definitely looking better but now he won't eat. This is very frustrating. I'll try some different things and see if he likes anything.

Zener is definitely doing better than last night although he has not eaten much today. He is peeing and I saw him poop this morning. He scratched at the scratching pad when I came home this evening. And he was purring a while ago. He batted at a weed in the yard. So I guess the 5 Ps are in place but not as vigorous as I would like. I gave him the 1/2 cypro right away tonight and that usually takes a couple of hours to kick in. Keeping my paws crossed he starts to eat like a lumberjack (the school mascot)!

Hope everyone is having a nice evening in LL. I sure appreciate everyone who takes a look at Zener's condo while Anne is away and other times too.

I think we are seeing the cypro kicking in - he gobbled down his food. :lol: Just like a lumberjack. I'll give him some more in another hour then test again. This seems like a more normal cycle with a slight rise at +2. Too bad he's in the reds.

Yep, cypro-induced lumberjack appetite is in full force. Much better than last night when he acted like he wanted food then didn't eat it. Tonight he asked for food and then he ate it. Phew! I am a much happier bean tonight. BG numbers are a little high but it's looking like a typical lantus cycle. Very rare for Mr. Z. :lol:
