Special healing thoughts and prayers for Tarragon today, and lots of love for Melissa and her family as they try to figure out what is wrong with Mr. T.
Blue last night with a +5 of 92, then back up this morning... not sure what is up with the Dubs, but hoping it is still a bounce that will clear sometime today. Sorry we were off the grid last night... I'm starting up softball again after taking a 2 season hiatus so Willie let me have the night off. Was nice to be out amongst friends and due to a team not showing up, I ended up getting in a second pick-up game that gave me some much needed practice.
After some lovely btb cuddles (with Willie again totally sacked out!), I am in the office working from home today. Willie was by my side, ready for his assignment (a/k/a pile of files to snooze on), but since it's going to be a hot one here today, I figured I'd let him outside. We had a conversation... him sitting on the loveseat, me standing there with the door wide open. First he just stared at me, then it went to:
Okay, so I guess I can close the door b/c you don't want to go outside? That's okay. [start to close door]
Wait!! Let me tink about it! Don't close dat door yet!!
Well, if you want to out, then get off the loveseat and lets go!
hmpf. fine. I guess I'll walk over there at least. [walks to door]
Okay mister, in or out? I'm not going to stand here all day letting the a/c out and the bugs in.
*whine* I tooooollllldddddd u I had to tink bout it!!!!!!!
Okay, fine. I'm closing the door now.
Fine I go outside den. you are so bossy.
And now he is out, hunting cicadas I'm sure.
Ann has asked yesterday about Grammy's Pot PIe. Willie has always been pretty carb sensitive, so I strive to keep him under 4%... when we do canned food, it is usually under 2%, so the Grammy's Pot Pie, at 8% is only for getting his numbers up.... generally at the beginning of the cycle when he looks like he's headed downward quickly.
