Tuscany having salmon tonight - grilled. We will keep the marinate off of hers.
Seems to be having more trouble walking - 4 steps or so and stops. Her leg looks like it is on backwards or collapsed. I should see if I could post picture..
I am getting tight chested when I think that we are now down to 48 hours. How did this summer, this week, go so fast.
Did I tell the story about the time we had a bird fly in the house? There were birds in a nest outside our front door in the other house. DH went to shake a rug - standing at the front door. It scared the bird backwards into the house. Oh did the cats have fun runny around after this bird. It was chaos for several minutes until I could get the 2 cats segregated into a room that the bird wasn't. Then had to figure out how to get the bird out. Tuscany was very upset that we locked her away and spent the next hour in the bird room trying to figure out where that bird was....
I also have found out the cats are good at letting you know when you have critters in the walls or the ceiling. The first time that I figured this out Tuscany was doing laps on the headboard in the bedroom at night. Then would sit in the corners and stare up for long minutes. Took me awhile to hear what she was hearing - turned out to be birds in the attic. I think we have also had some mice in the walls. I've come home to find Tuscany sitting in a corner of a room just staring up. She would sit there - or return to listen- for 20 - 30 minutes at a time. If I put my ear up against the wall sometimes I could her a faint noise. Little kitty - standing guard for us!
