Good morning, everyone,
Sending lots of vines and prayers for little Charlie this morning, and deepest sympathy to Ellie on the crossing of her 20-year old kitty.
Rusty had a good night and this morning we had a good morning routine. He is being an excellent host. We aren't going to paddle today because the weather is threatening and the forecast is for 80% chance of thunderstorms and some heavy rain. So we are going to take our friend to the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mt. Lake. It is a huge complex spread out over a hillside with buildings devoted to boats, transportation, crafts, art, buildings that have been moved to the site (a schoolhouse, a 19th century small hotel, a hunting camp, a childrens' camp cabin,), etc etc. they have a late 19th century luxury private rail car that you can walk through to see how the captains of industry traveled to the Adirondacks to their Great Camps. We'll drive down there ( about an hour's drive), see some of the exhibits (impossible to see them all), have lunch in the snack bar, and get back here in the late afternoon. Rusty will hols the fort again.
Wishing you all a fine weekend.
