We just landed in Ireland a couple hours ago!

Of course, we broke a pipe an hour before we were supposed to leave for the airport, but Parker somehow managed to fix it with things around the house (?). That almost made up for the fact that he booked us a red eye flight in economy class on a budget airline. 🤣🤣🤣

The good news is that so far, both sitters have been able to get Moonie’s blood glucose numbers. And so far, Moonie seems to be in good spirits. She even rolled over and showed one of the sitters her belly for little belly rubs.

We’re going to take a quick nap before exploring Dublin later today. We managed to get a last minute ticket to Kilmainham Gaol, so we’re pretty excited about that. And then hopefully we can squeeze in some combination of Trinity College / Long Room and EPIC museum.

Here’s a photo of Moonie from the sitter yesterday getting little belly rubs :)

Glad you guys made it safely to Ireland!! 😄 Hopefully the sitters being able to get Moonie's BG numbers is some relief and will allow you to enjoy the trip just that little bit more - I know how tough it can be to travel with FD.

Enjoy Ireland!! 🍀

Love the picture! 🥰 Enjoy your day.

So glad Moonie is doing well! Love that she's accepting belly rubs from her team!
Have a wonderful trip and soak in all that great culture, safe travels and keep us posted! :bighug: 🐈‍⬛😍:bighug:
Thank you so much! I had so much fun today even if I kept checking back on our pet cams and seeing things that reminded me of our kitties!

Have a great time in Ireland! I studied in Dublin for two summer semesters in college, I miss it so much. Is this your first time there? Kilmainham Gaol and Trinity are really interesting places to tour.
Good to hear that Moonie is doing well with the sitters!
Oh wow! I really wish I’d done a semester abroad in college. I bet Dublin was super fun for a college student.

It’s our first time in Ireland so we’re just having a good time even walking around Dublin. It’s crazy how surprisingly quiet and scenic it feels for a major city. It’s probably the only capital city in the world where I haven’t heard any honking in 24 hours!

Of course I’m now getting a message from the sitter that Moonie won’t eat even though she offered 3 different options.

Her PMPS was lower than what I’d consider ideal anyway so Moonie is getting MC tonight. At least she’ll eating that. She better not get used to the Fancy Feast grilled in gravy 😭

Is Parker the MacGyver? Wow!!

Enjoy it all!! 🩷

Soon Moonie will adjust, hopefully... 🙏🏼🩷

(It's a beautiful PMPS, by the way... Will make her feel good and comfortable, no?) 💙

Cant wait for all the updates from Ireland! Glad most everything went smoothly so far. That photo is so darned cute!!! Moonie has them trained I see!
Thanks Jo! I was shocked (but relieved) to see Moonie acting like her normal roly poly self in the photos. She really does have us all eating out of the palm of her paws!

Look at her! She's like, "love me! love me and my luscious belly!"
Jude would be shooting daggers out of his eyes at a stranger and hiding under something.
Have fun!
It’s funny because we have five cats and we’ve been receiving photos with expressions ranging from Moonie (rub my belly!) to my ragdoll Charlotte (literal death stares). I’ll have to include the last one of Charlotte I got in my post today because judging by her expression, you may never hear from me again when she gets her murder mittens on me.

I’m glad you made it safely. Isn’t Kilmainhaim amazing? And the library & Book of Kells at Trinity University. I hope you enjoyed EPIC and the Long Hall.

Better to have gravy and the BG go higher. Miss Moonie and her shenanigans!
Thanks Marje! It really was all so amazing. Parker especially loved the guided tour at Kilmainhaim. And Long Hall / Trinity College library were straight out of my dreams as a little girl seeing the library in Beauty and the Beast.
