AMPS 306 Libre
We saw a nice overnight cycle but I gave a smidge increase this morning. Would love to tamp down some of her super high bounces after some lower BG on her Libre.
She felt well over the weekend and I am really hoping the B12 stays in her system the full week until Thursday when she is due for another shot.
If she starts to have any issues on day 6 (Wednesday) I will give the shot early to see if we can head off a full GI episode. If I see her stools getting softer, I will deploy the shot.
I am trying to figure out how we will actually get an accurate B12 lab test if I can't actually stop the B12 shots prior to the test.
The plan is to stop B12 shots after 6 weeks (2 more shots to go) then wait 2 weeks, test her B12 level, then give a shot at one month.
However, I really don't think I will be able to take that 2 week break in the shots (based on her recent GI situation of loose stools and a few pukes when the B12 shot was due).
Very complicated, it seems her B12 levels are certainly low enough to warrant weekly shots to support her system given her IBD now
She behaved for a nail trim yesterday, licked her Libre so much that it wasn't attached so that had to be replaced (she behaved perfectly, like "who me....pull off my Libre?")
Hoping for a very calm and boring week
