+3 120, 2.5 treats, 1PP, 3 mg zobaline, 0.75oz 11% (carbed him up!)
+5 71, 0.45oz 10% (sure didn't overcarb)

Good morning, LL! It's been a bit crazy here! Zener decided to break his bounce and let me know just as I needed to leave for class at +3. Crazy cat. I carbed him up pretty good and he still had a good drop at +5. Luckily, his appy is great so he ate everything that I offered. I am really thinking that the 11% Proplan shoots up his blood sugar, a lot more than the 10% Chicken Florentine. I may be shaving his dose tonight. I will be home until +9.75 so no worries about having to leave. I do want to go for a bike ride if the weather and BGs permit.

OT: Anne said the Opening Ceremony was amazing! The Queen stayed for the whole thing and Steven Hawking was the emcee. I thought, wow, he's a famous physicist. Then later, I was wondering, why did they choose him? Right, he's British. Oh, and he uses a wheelchair, because it's the PARALYMPICS! Duh! :lol: :lol: :lol: Her friend Viola did get to carry the torch and the Dutch media was there to cover it (there was some confusion about time and location but it all worked out) and Anne was there to cheer her on, along with a ton of other people. AND Anne was all over the British media after the media event and they were nice to her. Here is one article.

I hope everyone is doing well today. I'll try to stop by some condos. Thank you for visiting Zener! He and Tillie are lonely when I'm at school.

It looks like Zener had a good day. I'm glad you were able to keep him from dropping too far. It sounds like Anne is having a great time. That must be really nice to be there in person. I can't believe NBC isn't airing the Paralympics while it is live and then is barely airing anything.

Hi Liz, it looks like Zener and Maggie were in cahoots this morning. Maggie pulled the same thing on me as I wanted to leave and have breffifs with a friend. She was also 71 at +5! It's interesting to learn which one carbs them up the most. I learned the FF Beef Gravy Lovers did it with Zener's friend. Wow with the Queen attending the whole event and on Anne and the media, very impressive. I want to re-read it. Is any of this televised yet.
You'll have to check out Maggie's condo; there's a very negative poo report.:(
Did you take a bike ride yet?

Oh no, poor Zener. That's not like him to hiss and growl. Sending Zener some appy and tummy vines. That's good news of he's chasing Tillie. Hope the Cypro helps and he starts eating.

Nice day for Zener. Healing vines for his tummy. So sorry he isn't feeling well tonight. Hopefully the tummy massage and Cypro help. You have your hands full for sure. Thinking of all of you. Scritches for Zener and Tillie and hugs to you Liz.

What a great article! The pics Anne has posted on FB are amazing!! What a wonderful celebration. Anne is definitely an inspiration.

Glad to hear Anne is enjoying the Paralympics and that London is treating her so well! Hope your classes are treating you well, too, Liz!

I'm glad Zener got his appetite back. It looks like you might be able to get some sleep tonight, how considerate!

It's cool to see that Anne is all over the media in Britain, but it is a very important role. The opening ceremonies can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/user/ParalympicSportTV. I've just watched part, it's over 4 hours long. In Canada we just get one hour of highlights each evening, but they did show the opening ceremonies live.
