Day 9 @ 2.875Units Lantus

Hurricane Update: Dorian is getting stronger and if it makes land it should be a hurricane 4. Scary:nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:
Neighbors are now starting to put up their shutters as well and all patio furniture and yard stuff is all coming into the garage. Garage is getting packed tight especially considering all the large plants that are in pots in the yard that need to come in.
Water is being limited and supplies are scarce. Dorian is supposed to be here I "think" sometime Monday or late Sunday night.....speed is becoming the problem as the storm seems to be slowing down and this makes it worse because when it hits land it will be around longer....not good- more destruction!

On a lighter note, Yoyo thanks everyone for all his Birthday Wishes and Cakes. They were delicious:joyful:

Everyone please stay safe and of course all our Kitties MUST surf safely :D and stay away from sharkies:(

I'm glad Yoyo enjoyed his birthday, the cake didn't mess up his BG's one bit!
Debra, what part of Florida are you in?

Yoyo is getting ready for a day at the lagoon maybe?
I'm watching Dorian for you ..

Ti-Mousse is feeling bad also, but not for the same reason...... he was so stressed yesterday, he forgot something important !!

Hi Sonia, Yoyo's birthday cake was fat free and sugar free, so he and I ate the entire cake:joyful:...thank you again!
I live in SE Florida just about where they show the eye going over land. Honestly I haven't been watching this morning, I keep passing the tv by, but the eye was heading for Vero Beach and that is about 90 miles north from my home.
Food stores are busy and out of necessary supplies. Target is only permitting 3 gallon water purchases per person.
And they haven't even ordered a watch yet. News has been strange regarding this weather forecast, not telling us anything definite, all maybes.

Awww that is too cute. I love it!
Please thank Ti-Mousse and tell him Yoyo completely understands that yesterday was a scary day for him and he totally gets it:cat:

Nice numbers for Yoyo today. I hope the hurricane will turn and go up the coast. The forecasts here are saying what it might do too. They don't seem to be sure. Stay safe. Sending prayers.

Yoyo!!! Happy birthday baby!! I would have felt awful if I hadn't finally come to check in! Much love to you pretty boy. Tina adores you.
Debra - I'm now stuck to the Dorian news, after settling back in at home today.
Many prayers for safety. I love Florida, even though I've only been twice. I have retired relatives there too.
Be strong and hold on.:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Where do the retired relatives live?

First, LOL! You both ate the whole thing? Nice! :p
And second, OMG, that's not very comforting. I was hoping that the news we're getting here was the weather people hyping things up as usual but it doesn't seem that way. We'll be thinking of you all weekend. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I hope your relatives will stay safe too, Jan. This is a biggie, unfortunately. Hopefully it will just blow itself back to sea. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Yoyo mah man! Happy Birthday you beautiful thang you! Glad ur mama allowed you to have cake-yummm...

Signed, yor friend n da lagoon, Miz Luci

OMG! You're in Florida too? So many friends there - so sorry to hear you have all that worry! I'm watching closely as well - we have a place in Naples and Irma came way too close for comfort in '17. Hope the storm turns and heads back out to sea - some of the 'maybe's suggest it's going to turn north...let's hope so...it's cold up here in Michigan already - hitting those 50's at night - seems too soon...maybe that'll suck up the heat from that hurricane and bring it out to the cool north Atlantic to chill out.

Take care!
