8/30 Oberon AMPS 153, +3 214, +6 223, PMPS 265, +3 249

Not too bad. I hope he will not go higher. Too bad you can't give R in the a.m. sometimes (not today, of course).

I actually do give it in the morning when he's eligible and I'm going to be around to monitor. And same thing for midcycle R in the AM cycle. (Not overnight... I'm losing enough sleep as it is!) I'm starting to wonder about refining my R scale so I can give a little when he's in the 250-300 range or so. Right now it's an all-or-none cutoff at 300. But his current R dose is already pretty low (0.25 U), so I'd just be giving a tiny amount if he was in those lower numbers. Not sure it's worth worrying about it, but it might help me keep a lid on things while slowly bringing the Lantus dose up (if necessary; we'll see where he's heading right now...).

Third cycle after the furshot; hoping to see some action in the next couple of cycles. For now, though, I'm hoping for a quiet night.
