Thanks. Yes I did step away for a bit due to a lot going on, but I realized how much I needed this group, so I came back. Thanks again! Have a great day!Good morning, Lori. Give this new increase a few cycles. Hopefully, we will see improvement. By the way, I think you left us for a while. I'm glad you are back![]()

Poor Max (and you!) Ear problems are notoriously hard to treat! Yes, a steroid could really reduce his discomfort and redness... but hopefully with a little more time these drops will work!Just back from the vet's office AGAIN. Max had his ears rechecked. He's been miserable today with his ears. Vet said they look "a little better, but to finish the course of Baytril Otic drops. They are still pretty red and irritated. Vet said there's not as much drainage as before but still healing. Not much we can do for the erythema because we can't use a steroid. Gave him some Bupe today for pain. Vet said if ears don't look better by Friday we may have to look into getting something compounded with a different antibiotic for him. He's been in the pink all day with his BG... but he's been uncomfortable so I'm sure that is affecting his BG. I wouldn't be surprised if it's not up more at PMPS due to the vet visit we just came back from. I hope not. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for Max and his new dose will show us something good. Trying to stay positive here.![]()
