Maybe Neko knows how heavy my heart is feeling today. I've been thinking of Mariko and Lucy all day. They live pretty close, as the crow flies across the water.

Neko is practically living in the solarium these days - it's cooler out there at night so I'm almost tempted to join her. She's getting most of her tests and shots there too. I do the acupressure right there after AM shot time and I think she looks forward to it. This morning her purr engine started up just as I was getting down to the bottom of the spine.

OT: Bean is feeling tired today. I rowed in a single today for about 12 km, third day in a row out on the water. I went later in the morning and it's so much hotter than I'm used to at 5:30AM. I feel my energy is drained.

I hope Neko gives you some nice numbers this evening. Hopefully you were able to rest today and get some of your energy back.

Our thoughts go out to Lucy. It's tough.

Neko has the right idea out where its cool and gets a nice massage.. well sort of a massage.

Hopefully you will get your energy back tomorrow.

Nice toasty weather we are having isn't it? We are mid 80's... and you were rowing? I can imagine tat the combo of the two has left you drained.

I know on Lucy. Never ever easy. I've been thinking of her today too.

Now I'm wondering about that +9 test. That was a fierce drop from her +6 test and not "usual Neko". Oh well, being predictable is against cat regulations. :lol:

I just got back from feeding a friend's cat. They have a good view from the hill. I can almost see Mariko's place from there. It's almost dark now - soon I'll look for that new star twinkling in the sky.

@Carla, Catherine, Michelle, Ruth - Thanks for stopping in. I'm still feeling beat, I'm sure like many here it's part emotional. It's quite warm (for here) and no let-up forecast for a while. No watermelon in the house but I think it's time for that blueberry turnover.
