Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ( LOTS! Major DGS recovery mode...., plus I really love ~O) ), HAPPY CATURDAY EVERYONE!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Lola and Bug say that it is Caturday and they are sleeping in. Really sleeping in. :shock: I dunno on any pies today, they still need to cleans up from TPIF day.... well on the good side, alot is almost already to go then. no prep work! Hmmmmm... so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with peppermint chips and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride.

I hope everyone had a great Friday. Nicholas and I sure did, even with the chnage in our weather. It has been raining here all. day. long. It has been raining non-stop here since this morning. I am glad that we didn't get this yesterday when we were at the river. I'm not even sure we made 60 today. :roll: ;-) The good thing that it was a swim day. weather is irrelevant there! :lol: With weather like this, it was nice to have this be a normal swim day for Nicholas. The energizer FISH was hard at it today. He had a great time today. The boy he made friends with last week was there today, so they played together alot. I think that kid is in lessons, and comes to the kiddie stuff after that. It's nice he plays with Nicholas. They hit all the water works stuff, had a blast doing it too. They swam under water together, down the slides together, and under the dumping buckets together. I have been trying for ages to get Nicholas to stand under those buckets. They are mounted on a pole, about 10 feet up, and fill with water. When full they dump their contents on whomever happens to be standing under them. Today he did. AWESOME! He was laughing so hard when they dumped on him, and then was back for more. What great fun! I was glad that he got Nick to go under the buckets. :cool: That was a hoot, and kinda cool. anyways - good pool day. we still did the trails after the pool, berries to be found ya know. even in the rain. We both pulled out the slickers an off we went. The rains don't phase him... The blackberries are really ripe now, and lots of them! We still managed to find some wild raspberries and huckleberries. I had to laugh so hard when we reached this section that we call the bridge. It's basically a large drainage pipe that the trail goes over, the "creek" runs under. I think it is maybe 10 feet wide. Nicholas grabbed handfuls of dirt, dumps it into the water on one side, then runs to the other side to watch the dirt float out from the "tunnel". His version of Pooh Sticks. That was a hoot. We must have spent 30 minutes doing that. what a great time for him. FUNS!!!! Picassa links: Berries a Plenty..., and Swimming

Normalcy in Three MusketeerVille! let's see.... more dirt... more scattered magazines.... more shredded paper.... more scattered toys! :cool: and the herd of thundering cats running amuck in my house: 3 PM :cool: , 4PM :cool:, 6PM ;-), 8-9PM :roll: , midnight :shock: , 3AM :evil: :shock: :shock: :roll: :roll: :roll: :YMSIGH: , 5AM :-Q .... Don't they ever sleep???? guess not! :lol: :lol: :lol: Lola and Nicholas hung out for a bit yesterday morning. The faucets and the sink are still big hits with them both. Lola has become quite the faucet and sink drinker. :lol: :lol: I did manage to take few photos of them together yesterday: Lola and Nicholas and Elsa?: out til 11PM last night. She got the lecture, which I think she ignored. :lol: :lol:

Have a great day everyone. It will be catch up day here for me, the normal Caturday stuff: shopping, laundry, bills, errands.... I hope to finish all early, so that a local hike will fill my afternoon. :-D

Elsa, I guess those two goofy kitties worked so hard yesterday they didn't do a very good job of cleaning up. Well, i got my sponges (feet sponges and head sponges) and am on my way. Can't wait to slide big time today and then we'll put everything shipshape. When we get all cleaned up ... do you think we could play on Mannie's zip lines in the treehouse? We haven't done that in so long and it's such good fun. See you in a sec. xoxo oliver

I laughed so hard watching Nicholas play with the dirt and the water. Boy, does that take me back. Water and dirt were always so much fun!! Maybe that's why it's still fun to stomp in puddles.
I hope all the "chores'' get done pronto.. or dismissed until later. Have great fun.

Each morning I find myself looking forward to reading about the latest antics going on in your home ~ it's been so long since I've had young kitties, I forget just how busy they are! (Esp. at night :roll: :lol: .) Brings back memories of hearing things getting knocked down while sleeping and trying to figure out what object would make that noise ~ plant pot? knick-knack? picture frame? ~ and never knowing what I was coming home to ~ broken things? plant dirt? which kitty walked into the fireplace and proceeded to put sooty paws on everything?? Ahhhh, kitties. And yet we love them so much... :-D

I love that Nicholas was mesmerized by dirt + water. Such a 'kid thing!' At my school we have a beautiful playground with a fun play structure, large sandbox, scenic tricycle path, and so on... But the main draw? The areas where the kiddos can play in mud. Never fails :lol: . Gotta love it.

What was Elsa up to last night? I used to give Ripley's sister lectures when she'd come home late... she was an explorer, so she got many lectures. :lol: ;-) . Perhaps Elsa was staying clear of the youngins' antics... don't blame her. Rookies, Elsa. Rookies. ;-) :lol: And thanks for the coffee and treats ~ a nice way to start the weekend!

Morning everyone! The fog is FINALLY beginning to lift her today. It is supposed to be a partailly sunny afternoon. hmmmmm... I wonder. I did take a very short 3 mile walk this AM, through the woods, in the fog. It was fun. I love fog. ;-)

Morning Mary ~O) ~O) ~O) I so know on that dirt and water. That was so fun yesterday. What a mess he was when all was said and done. :lol: :lol: I so agree on the puddle stomping. We both did our fair share of that yesterday. :cool: THX on today - I like that dismissed option alot. Works for me!

OLLIE DUDE! nope! no cleans up for sure... it is a mess in there.... stuff is everywhere! we are going to need lots of sponges!. Bring lots of the head ones. I so wanna try that. OH ! YES! We can do that: the zip lines! major good funs. I will make sure they are in order. They should be Lola has been zipping back and forth on them. She is crazy.... This will be so cool! Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O) hey thanks! I so agree on young kitties - it had been 17 years since we had young ones in the house, way back when we adopted Mannie at 8 months old. Even then he was a mellow dude. Lola and Bug are so different than he was. It just never stops with them, especially Lola. What FUN she is! I can so relate to the at night stuff! OMG on yesterday! Those times listed are for real! :roll: :roll: :shock: OH LOL on the fireplace and the sooty paws... I haven't had that one yet! :lol: And I so agree on the dirt. he sees a dirt pile and he is in it. Such a typical boy! I dunno on Elsa - she likes to go out at night, well the evening. She too is an explorer, always off here there and everywhere. Last night it was an extended trip! :roll:

Afternoon Michelle: I so enjoy your condos and the adventures of Nicholas and the three musketeers. Lola is a real trip. Every household needs one like her. It is also great that Elsa has adjusted to the antics. Bug is your cuddle baby, how nice is that.

Loved the pictures in the fog this morning. I too like fog and remember enjoying it when I lived on the jersey coast. Something peaceful about it and the way it changes the landscape.

Hi Barbara ~O) ~O) ~O) hey - thanks! I so agree on Lola. I think everyone should have the pleasure of caring for a kitty like this one. She is a treasure, full of mischief. :-D I think so too on Bug - he so reminds me of Mannie when eh was a youngster: very mellow, a cuddler. Elsa will always be Elsa: the matriarch. :cool: THX too on the pics - I love the fog.... it is as you say. Will do on the pics, and the vids. :-D

Hi Anne - THX too! YUPP! That is what it is: the thundering herd! how can two kitties that are so small make such noise???? THX on today, it's been good: getting things done, made an out and about, will do another too shortly. Life is good! :), and will do on the pics, and the vids.

Sorry I missed your condo yesterday. I couldn't get into the Lantus forum and so ultimately gave up and watched TV. What a grand day you had yesterday with Nicholas in the rain. Mud everywhere for sure! And what great looking blackberries! It is neat that Nicholas has a friend at the pool. Only a few more weeks to wait before the big pool will be open!
Elsa, thank you so much for that delicious double espresso this morning. I hope that Bug and Lola realize that there is an OTJ party tonight and that they can't take this Caturday off from work! Chef Rusty knows that their pizzas are such a big hit with the kitties and always puts them on the menu. He'll see them on the bus!

They say that cats are nocturnal creatures, you know!!

HI Ella :-D No worries on the condos. I miss alot too, just not enough hours in the day for me, and when I have Nicholas it just rarely happens..... me too on the Board last night. I gave up after a while too. Finally it was back up. YES on nicholas - it was so wet and muddy etc. but hat fun! the blackberries are getting really fat and ripe - they are so good! - AND (!!) I can hardly wait for that big pol to be open! :cool: :cool: :cool: -- oh haha on the nocturnal - well my kiites are proof of that! :lol: :lol:

Hi Michelle, just catching up on condos and life with Lola and Bug! :lol: What a nice day you and Nicholas had on Friday, was it? I'm getting my days mixed up. Cute pics of him swimming and nice he has little playmates, too. Looks like he was warming up with that bar before taking a dunk. Love the pics of Lola and Nicholas. She loves little Nicholas. Glad you were able to get in a three mile walk, too. Hope the weathe cleras for today.
 
morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) yes, that was Friday - we had a great time! it is good to see that he has fond a playmate in the pool, and yes on that bar! Loves to swing on it. :-D THX too on the walk, and I so hope on today. Paws crossed! it should be sunny and 80, so I hope that comes to be.
