Just so you know though....I think you could have handled Mimi purfectly! You have a lot of experience with a cat that is NOT carb sensitive. That speaks volumes to me. You have to be extra vigilant with testing and propping so, you have a lot more experience than most. Don't sell yourself short on what you know

thanks. that means a lot. i felt really bad tho bc i said wait for 30min (vs 20min) and try not to feed again until next test (vs feed some more) as recommended by others.
important part is that she came up quickly. phew!

It can take 30 minutes for hc to bring the bg up. I usually say 20-30.
