8/3 Kee, AMPS 65, delay 20m 81, +1 102, +3 39, +4 73, PMPS 134, +2 92, +4 49

Kee was a little low at 65 for AMPS so I delayed 20 and he was up to 81 and shot the 1 drop dose that I've been doing. +1 was 108, post food bump.

Went outside to get some much needed yard work done and missed the +2 only to see a 39 at +3.

Just gave tsp of LC with 2-3 drops of Karo.

He seems completely fine. Was hanging out in a sunny window and jumped up when I came in from outside wanting more food.

Just retested 10m after the first one to check if the first strip was bad.

Yeah Im really not sure what to do next. I dont know if he can go off completely at this point... but maybe an OTJ trial might be something to look at.
 
That 39 means reduce for sure! Normally we like to see a kitty in solid green, and going from 0.25 to 0.1 units. How did you measure that drop? He was on the drop dose for five cycles, so not much if any of the higher depot left. I am going to suggest that first you do a a food trial. Sort of a pre trial trial. ;) Skip tonight and skip tomorrow. Feed small meals throughout the day. Test at AMBG (blood glucose) and PMBG, your normal times. If he is green, go about your day. If blue, test again three hours later to see if the pancreas is kicking in. I would like to see a few solid green days before giving that other trial a go. He saw yellow a couple days ago.

Already gave tonights dose. PMPS was 134. I definitely dont think he's ready to go off with the recent high blues and the yellow a couple days ago.

As far as dosing, I'm just guessing at this point, I have calipers and BD 1/2u marking syringes but its all such small amounts. I tested the "1 drop" dose by drawing various amounts and dropping them in my sink. I'm guessing its around 0.1u that I've been giving but I'm sure its more or less some days.

I can do the pre-trial trial tomorrow.
