Yes, this is Georgia's Simon's condo, not to be confused with the recently OTJ Simon. Congratulations to Simon and Bruce!!

Please pray for Irowen's mom who is very sick. And also please continue to pray for Claudia and sweet, cuddly, Rocket.

Simon is having up and down days. Yesterday, he stayed in the blues and this morning is about the usual number for him to start the day. Hoping for some greens. I am still on the fence about what to do with Simon's ear allergies. I'm a little nervous about the cyclosporine (tablets not the ointment) because I have read it really upsets the kitty's stomach. My vet also confirmed this when he was pushing for the Covenia. I think i am going to hold off a few more days. Simon doesn't seem to be scratching as much so maybe it is getting a little better. His urinalysis came back and everything looked good, no UTI's.

Cleo is doing well and is taking to the subq fluids like a pro.

Great news on Sime's urinalysis, and Cleo's handling of the fluids :-D

I totally agree with your decision on holding off any more meds... I hate putting anything new
into the "mix" unless absolutely necessary. Hopefully his ears will continue to improve on their own.

Good morning Georgia!!! Nice AMPS for Simon this morning. I don't blame you on the medicine. The last thing Simon needs is an upset tummy.

Sorry I haven't been around much. Do know that I am thinking about you though and hope everything is going well!

just about perfect start to the day for simon! if you have to give the AB, you might try just giving fortiflora at the same time. i did that through 40 days of clindamycin for punkin and it did work to keep his tummy working.

Hi guys .. love the blue start and will also be hoping for some green later on .. glad to hear that cleo is still taking fluids like a champ .. hopefully you won't have to add in any extra meds for simon .. have a great day guys!

Well darn, Simon. You are heading in the wrong direction today. Maybe it is the heat or maybe the Wellness. I think that might cause his bg to go up a little. Switched to FF this afternoon.

Thanks for all your comments! I'm glad you are reassuring me about not jumping on the med wagon just yet. Thanks Julie, for the idea about floriflora if he does have to go on the AB. Simon tends to have a very sensitive tummy for such a big boy.

I sure hope Simon gets better, poor little dude!!! His numbers aren't looking bad, either. That 140 is at +6 so he was probably lower before that. He's looking good!!

sorry to be so late.... time eludes me sometimes,. Good luck with your decision on Simon's ears. It's a hard decision, I know... Nice that Cleo is doing well with he fluids.

not too bad on the numerous - maybe tomorrow the greens Simon?
