Re: 8/2 Do Lou amps 293

Oh, I thought maybe your were coming to the Pittsburgh Reunion which is next weekend. Hope you have fun in Gatlinburg.
I'm sure you need the vacation and DS will do fine with the cats.
It's nice to see a Do Lou condo :YMHUG: It sounds like he is doing good. Do Lou, stop chewing on your tummy!

Sending healing vines to your DBIL.

Sunny yellow for Do Lou! Come on down big guy. Great to hear that DBIL is hanging in there. Sending tons more healing vines for him and for you. That is wonderful that you are going to get away. You definitely deserve a little R&R with DH. Have a great day Lisa!

Re: 8/2 Do Lou amps 293

Hi Lisa, I love the video of sweet DoLou! Sending healing vines for him, and so glad you are getting away for a few days. Kitties will be in good care with DS. Take care.

Re: 8/2 Do Lou amps 293

Thanks Ann and after all the stress of the past month or so I really do need a break even though I worry a bit always leaving Do Lou he is such a needy spoiled guy but he loves my DS and I know he will be in good hands

Re: 8/2 Do Lou amps 293

Hey, Lisa -

Do Lou is a cutie! (Do Lou - I bet you're even cuter in BLUE!!) Glad he could get a little window time today. I'm afraid it's my allergies that keep the windows closed around here.

So nice that y'all are getting a little time away and you have your DS to take care of the kitties! Kudos to him!!

Have a great day -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

(((Lisa)))) I'm so sorry I've missed your condos lately and thank you for stopping in to see Gracie. Sending your DBIL more prayers and healing vines.

I hope DL's tummy grows all his hair back soon. Love his little blue e collar in the video. He is so handsome....esp the back of him     JK

I'm so glad you are getting time away. That should be so much fun....you deserve it; you've had alot going on.

Big hugs and love!

Gabby did the same thing to her tummy last year. Here's what my vet suggested:
There are several options—there is a product called Allerderm which is applied once weekly to the skin which can be quite helpful for itchy or dry skin. Additional fish oil omega-3 fatty acids, 200-250 mg daily, are often helpful, but may take up to 2 weeks to really have an effect. Antihistamines are often helpful—we seem to have the best success with Zyrtec, which is over-the-counter, or hydroxyzine which is a prescription medication.

We have Allerderm here, but you may be able to order it online. Zyrtec dosage is ½ of a 10 mg tablet by mouth (in food…) twice daily, or about every 12 hours, try for 7 days. Watch for drowsiness or restlessness, although side effects from Zyrtec are not likely or are very mild. Use plain Zyrtec, or cetirizine, only—no combo meds. The fish oil product we use is AllerG3, or you can use human products.
I'm so glad to hear your DBIL is making progress!!

Have a wonderful weekend way. Give DL a scritch for me!!
